Sprint Center to bring successful stand’s sushi rolls to suites A new Benihana concession stand has filled a void at Kansas City, Mo.’s Sprint Center, resulting in plans to expand some menu items to the suite catering operation, said officials with arena operator AEG Facilities. Earlier this year, AEG signed a sponsorship with the 55-year-old Japanese restaurant chain to bring the Benihana brand to both 12-year-old Sprint Center and to Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Calif., home of Major League Soccer’s LA Galaxy. A third Benihana concession stand is at Yankee Stadium, where Legends runs the food at the home of Major League Baseball’s New York Yankees.
