Team store for Rams, Chargers draws on Southern California culture
SoFi Stadium‘s new team store delivers plenty of Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers gear, all with a distinctly Southern California vibe.
The store, called The Equipment Room, opened to the public Saturday in more than 7,600 square feet over two levels at the stadium in Inglewood, California.
Fans can find products for the Rams and Chargers, the two NFL teams that call the stadium home, plus stadium merchandise. Offerings including team exclusive collaborations with New Era, Icer Brand and Junk Food and products such as jerseys, T-shirts, fan gear, footballs, helmets, headwear, novelty items, training gear, home decor and accessories. Brands on the shelves include Nike, New Era Cap, ’47 Brand, Starter, Mitchell & Ness, G III, WinCraft, FOCO and Boelter Brands.
Legends built and operates the fan shop.
The opening “will offer Rams and Chargers fans an early opportunity to experience SoFi Stadium ahead of the season,” Jason Gannon, managing director of SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park, said in a release announcing the opening.
To bring a regional flavor to The Equipment Room, the store will feature exclusive SoFi Stadium collaborations with local artists; the first is with Laguna Beach artist Steve Adam, who has translated the look and feel of SoFi Stadium into his art. This includes unique surfboards shaped by surf legend Duke Aipa, hand-painted acrylic skateboards, original art, and apparel.
The Equipment Room at SoFi Stadium will be open to the public daily except for game days, when only ticket holders can enter. The entrance is on Level 5, adjacent to American Airlines Plaza. Additional shops and retail kiosks throughout the building are open during events.
In addition to operating The Equipment Room, Legends is involved throughout SoFi Stadium in hospitality, premium sales, tours, partnerships and naming rights, technology solutions, and project development. Tours of the stadium also officially began Saturday.
