Q&A to be moderated by OVG chairman and CEO Tim Leiweke

VenuesNow Conference will feature a Q&A keynote discussion with Jeb Terry, president and CEO of Cosm, the immersive event experience company that recently opened an high-tech, eye-popping entertainment venue in Los Angeles that some have called “a mini-Sphere.”

Moderated by Oak View Group chairman and CEO Tim Leiweke, the one-on-one discussion will touch on topics including the future of fan engagement and the role of cutting-edge technology in shaping the live event experience.

VenuesNow Conference, produced by Oak View Group, takes place in Phoenix, Arizona, Oct 15-16.

“I’m thrilled to speak with Jeb Terry on stage at the VenuesNow Conference,” Leiweke said in the announcement. “He and Cosm are at the forefront of the next chapter of the immersive technology revolution and his insights will be invaluable to our attendees as they navigate the changing landscape of the venues industry.” OVG is parent company to Pollstar and VenuesNow.

Based in Los Angeles, the ex-NFL lineman and former Fox Sports executive oversees Cosm and its global footprint. He will discuss how Cosm is leveraging its revolutionary end-to-end capabilities to completely redefine the way the world experiences live entertainment.

Prior to joining Cosm, Terry held key leadership roles at Fox Sports, where he oversaw multi-platform activations for major sporting events, and at StraightCast Media, a company he co-founded that focused on delivering athlete-driven content to fans. His entrepreneurial spirit and passion for innovation have been instrumental in driving Cosm’s success and establishing it as a pioneer in the industry.

The announcement follows the keynote announcement of Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark, who will share insights into the future of sports and entertainment venues, They will be joined by a robust lineup of panel speakers rounding out the programming of the conference, which will also include a special golf outing at the Biltmore Golf Club on Monday, Oct. 14. Opening reception, which will include a tour of the Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix, takes place Tuesday evening, Oct. 15.
