Ed Snider died April 11 after 50 years of owning the Philadelphia Flyers,
operating the Spectrum, building Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, starting
a private management firm and then another, now Spectra Experiences,
and giving back hundreds of millions of dollars and endless time through
philanthropic causes. His absence is felt acutely, but his legacy lives on.
