Industry Veteran is vice president of programming

JoAnn Armstrong will be joining entertainment consulting company Venue Coalition as vice president programming, it was announced this week.

Armstrong, who started her career as operations manager of Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa, California, went on to spend nearly 30 years with Honda Center, the last 15 as director of booking.

She joined Venue Coalition after a stint as vice president of programming at Oak View Group’s Acrisure Arena in greater Palm Springs, California.

With Venue Coalition, Armstrong will focus on servicing the company’s 150-plus member venues across North America, assisting them with national and regional booking as well as providing them strong advocacy within the touring industry.
