Nationwide Arena, Columbus, Ohio, will be exempt from property taxes under a measure passed by Ohio state legislators and signed by Ohio Governor Kasich.

The new tax status is expected to save up to $4 million annually on property taxes for the home of the Columbus Blue Jackets and will bring it in line with the rest of the publicly-owned sports venues in the state.
