In spite of temperatures that mostly stayed in the mid-90s, the Nebraska State Fair, Grand Island, remained on par with last year, with attendance of 334,931 compared to last year’s 336,987.

“It’s unfortunate,” said executive director Joseph McDermott. “We had a pretty cool summer so people were not accustomed to those temperatures.”
