PHILADELPHIA - Management consultant Alan S. Brown told an audience of INTIX conference attendees here that as the subscription-based model for filling performing arts centers wanes, reaching out to single ticket buyers becomes more important than in the past.
"Subscription is the horse we've been riding for so many years...since Danny Newman [with his Dynamic Subscription Promotion theory] started the business," Brown said. "Why are we so focused on this single sales paradigm?"
