The word from Canadian venue managers Scotiabank Arena, Toronto Nick Eaves, chief venues and operations officer, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (Scotiabank Arena owner) How would you describe the past year for your venue? We changed the name to Scotiabank Arena and that kicked off the year. We have color-changing LEDs (on exterior signage) that will reflect what’s going on inside: blue for the Maple Leafs, red for the Raptors in their traditional uniforms and green on St. Patrick’s Day. We can bring video to the signage. We renovated a bunch of spaces, clubs and restaurants inside the arena and have ambitious plans to continue that.
