The State Fair of Texas ran from Sept. 25 to Oct. 18.
The Texas State Fair saw an enormous boom in business this year, logging $53.6 million in coupon sales, up $11.6 million from the 2014 fair.
Fair officials are over the moon with the increased success that was credited to a huge push in marketing and advertising the fair year round. Social media promotion also played a large role in the fair’s success.
