(Courtesy Cirque du Soleil) A dance event, a rock concert, a family show and a theater piece topped our Hot Tickets chart this week, proving that live entertainment in all its forms is thriving across the board. The dance event was EDC Mexico, held at Foro Sol in Mexico City. The two-day event grossed a whopping $10,417,255, with attendance of 218,008 and a ticket range of $41.88-$20.94. It was promoted by OCESA / CIE. The family show was Cirque du Soleil “Corteo,” which grossed $1,521,733 over eight shows at H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, Texas, with attendance of 19,939; and a ticket range of $34-$164. Sparks Moves Up to BOK Center GM

Casey Sparks helped open BOK Center in 2008 as marketing director. She replaces Jeff Nickler at Tulsa arena as well as Cox Business Center Casey Sparks will be taking over as general manager at Tulsa’s BOK Center and Cox Business Center, replacing longtime GM Jeff Nickler, who moved to OVG Facilities last year. Sparks opened the SMG-managed BOK Center in 2008 as marketing director, left for a position with Red Light Management in 2010, and returned to BOK Center in 2014 as assistant general manager. Sparks began her career at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, S.C., and also worked at San Antonio’s 18,500-seat AT&T Center and Pensacola Bay Center in Florida.

VStar, Nickelodeon Enter Exclusive Deal

VStar and Nickelodeon are upping their partnership starting with “Move to the Music.” Character-packed Nick Jr. Live “Move to the Music” to be first show from stepped-up agreement VStar Entertainment and Nickelodeon have entered into a five-year deal that will see VStar be the exclusive live touring partner for Nickelodeon’s broad portfolio of family-skewing properties. Arena, Ducks Execs Moving Next Door

Orange County’s Honda Center is renovating the Anaheim Ducks’ locker room and sprucing up the backstage area. (Courtesy Honda Center) Renovation at Anaheim’s Honda Center will make office space into locker room Honda Center and Anaheim Ducks key executives and staff have moved out of their offices in the arena and into a three-building office complex next door in Orange County, Calif., that the team’s owner, Henry Samueli, recently purchased. The move comes in anticipation of embarking on a multimillion-dollar renovation of the Ducks’ locker room and backstage. “The whole organization is essentially moving into a 400,000-square-foot office next door,” said Tim Ryan, Honda Center CEO and chief operating officer of the Ducks. “For the first time ever we’ll be on one floor,” Ryan said. “We’re excited about moving.” Ryan expects the last of the 150-member staff to have moved by April 1. Move of the Month Charles Adams (left) was named assistant general manager of Delaware North’s Massachusetts Sportservice at TD Garden. Adams spent the last 10 years with Levy, most recently as director of operations at the University of Alabama. Adams has also held management roles with Levy in Atlanta and at the Ravinia Music Festival in the Chicago area. Hosts Global promoted Gina D’Angelo to vice president of operations.  Oak View Group named Randi Bernstein senior vice president of business development and Michael Moschella senior director of business development. Bernstein was a finance partner at DLA Piper; Moschella comes from Goldman Sachs in New York.
