On Dec. 21, 2003, two weeks to the day before the 2003 Nokia Sugar Bowl set for the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, the country's security system responded to increased terrorism threats and elevated the warning level from Yellow to Orange. So while many Americans stayed in holiday mode, a team of experts at the Louisiana Superdome put their tactical plans into motion to keep the facility, players, coaches, media, employees and 73,900 fans safe.
