Fertitta Center at the University of Houston opened the 2018-19 season after a $60 million renovation. (Courtesy University of Houston) Management deal includes Fertitta Center, TDECU Stadium The University of Houston has signed a 10-year deal with Oak View Group Facilities to manage all sports properties on campus, including Fertitta Center and TDECU Stadium, the Cougars’ 40,000-seat football venue. The agreement extends to Delaware North Sportservice running food service across all of the American Athletic Conference school venues and feeding the athletes. Both firms have been on the ground in Houston for two weeks operating 11 venues, said Tom Paquette, senior vice president of OVG Facilities. (Oak View Group is the parent company of VenuesNow).
