The U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, has held what appears to be the first paid arena concert in North America since the COVID-19 shutdown, bringing some hope to the decimated live music industry. Jeff Fortier from Mammoth Live and Mike Silva from Venuworks shares the experience behind Josh Turner’s concert, interviewed by VenuesNow’s Don Muret.
UBS Arena, New York’s newest big league facility, opens in the fall of 2021 at historic Belmont Park. Hank Abate, president of OVG Facilities and the arena’s general manager, will discuss the $1.5 billion project with Dan Griffis, president of OVG Global Partnerships, which sold the venue’s naming rights.
