New speakers and panels are being announced in the lead-up to the VenuesNow Conference, set for Oct. 21-22 in Seattle.

“The Future Is Bright for the Live Biz: But Where Are We Right Now?” will examine the return of live entertainment as it mounts a comeback toward the industry’s pre-COVID-19 levels of success. The panel will examine what the business will look like when it’s back at full strength, where and when that happens, and what we can expect in 2022.

Scheduled panelists include Marty Diamond,  executive vice president and managing executive for Wasserman Music; Kelly Flanigan, president, Capital Regions – U.S. Concerts, Live Nation DC; Jessica Koravos, co-chair of Oak View Group International and president of The Really Useful Group; and Jonathan Shank, CEO of Terrapin Station Entertainment.

Pam Matthews, executive director of the International Entertainment Buyers Association, will moderate.

Also on the docket for the conference is “The Role Entrepreneurialism Can Play in Driving Outsized Impact in Live Events.” Scheduled panelists include Christoph Bertsch, founder and CEO of Camm; Ryan Everton, founder and CEO of Turn Systems; and Ryan Fritsch, co-founder of Cloud Paper. Moderating will be Katherine Keating, managing partner of SoundWaves.

The fourth annual VenuesNow Conference will be held in Seattle to coincide with the opening of Climate Pledge Arena. In-person and virtual registration options are available. In-person registration includes a tour of the arena before its grand opening.

Other scheduled speakers at the conference include Kenneth Feld and Juliette Feld Grossman of Feld Entertainment, Amy Latimer of TD Garden and Delaware North, Amanda Mann of the Portland Trail Blazers and Moda Center, Corey Wilson of Pacers Sports & Entertainment and the Pacers Foundation, Justin Toman of Pepsico, and Jake Crumbine of Impossible Foods.
