After spending 22 years in management positions at SMG Europe, including in the role of senior vice president, Brill joined the management of Düsseldorf, Germany’s sports, events and meeting, incentive, conference and exhibition venues in 2017. Since August 2018, the live entertainment and sports events are handled by the newly formed D.Live, which Brill oversees as CEO. D.Live operates Merkur Spiel-Arena (54,000 capacity), ISS Dome (13,000), Mitsubishi Electric Halle (7,500), Castello Düsseldorf (3,000)and the Alltours open air cinema.
