The 14-year-old, 7,000-capacity multipurpose venue agreed to a five-year naming-rights deal in April for $85,000 a year, totaling $425,000, with the wireless company. The name officially changed last month. “Appalachian Wireless is a longtime sponsor of ours and had been the box office sponsor for several years.
